...of all the retarded things I've read on this site. That has to be the most naive statement to date.

Saudi Arabia will DO EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER to sabotage anything remotely looking like a Democracy bordering its country. Iran, for its part -- is in fact, quietly psyched by what the American trrops are doing -- it provides this huge opportunity to expand their influence at minimal cost (<--otherwise would have been military/economic compromise.)
