Japan has been buying up dollars to curb its drop. So, if anything, its just the opposite of what you state<<< You presume that Japan controls currency? Japan and Europe are in financial straights. The US is having a tough go, but the currency markets don't reflect the reality. The do in the long term, but this dollar fall is strictly related to the war, 9/11 etc..
