Allen;
I live in Canada and purchase my Bre-x options on the Toronto stock
exchange. You will find them listed in the Globe and Mail or the
Financial Post. Option contracts are available for September and
December and you may find more listed from your broker as the papers
don't have the room to list them. I personally think they are
extraordinarily cheap. Maybe option sellers know something I don't
but I think disbelief is rampant about Bre-x because of the stratosphere
it has entered. My broker has a target of $39.00 by the end of August.
He has been recommending Bre-x since it was $.50, yes that is right,
one half dollar. His other recos. have been excellent also.
As far as Stockwatch is concerned there is a two week free trial but
I'm not sure that e-mail bulletins are included in that offer. The number
of bulletins varies directly to the number of companies you wish to follow
through Stockwatch. I usually follow 15 to 25 companies in any given month
and for June that cost me $67.00Can. In July that figure will be closer to
$100 as there was more drilling activity, hence more news releases. Each
day around 5:00 pm, they also send me a daily activity report of each of
the stocks I'm following which includes, all bulletin outlines for the previous
5 trading days, the hi/lo and volume for the same days. This part of
the service is free. Keeping in mind they only cover Canadian listed
stocks on the MSE, TSE, VSE, ASE (Calgary, Alberta), and the OTC.
Best Regards;
Britt Jackson
