The US made a mistake by pre-emptively attacking Iraq, with little support of our allies. Yes, it would've been better to leave him in power so our "allies" could keep selling him weapons, pushing for the lifting of sanctions, excusing his mass murders, and denying his support for terrorism around the world. This has all been a major disaster. And now we've arrested the poor old guy. Sheesh!
