It really is fairly simple. We have 6.5% of world population. We control over 50% of world wealth, and our offensive destructive capability is about equal to the next 20 nations put together. So how do you keep it like this? Well placed news, misinformation, repeat the same same over and over. JQPublic naive and even stupid at times, eats it up. The whole game is like the stock market. It's perceptions that count, smoke and mirrors. Throw some fear in there. Get the "rubber stamp to do whatever you want" and now you have the world in your hands. Heck, congress spent more time on the Freedom Fries decision than signing PatriotActI into law. Got to find that quote from one of the congressmen saying he signed without reading back in those days of the "antrax letters scare". Politicians, top families, love it. They wouldn't have it any other way. The less education, the more stupefaction the better it is.
