Saddam hid under vegetables 'like a rat' December 14, 2003 - 11:17PM Head of the Constitutional Monarchy Movement al-Sharif Ali bin al-Hussein said former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein was hiding "like a rat" in a vegetable storage house when he was arrested. "They (US soldiers) dragged him from under vegetables. He did not resist. He was hiding like a rat under vegetables. *"This is evidence that Saddam has nothing to do with the resistance taking place in Iraq," al-Hussein told al-Jazeera television.* He added that Saddam was hiding alone and was in a "terrible state" when he was arrested.
