LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Sheriffs' Association (NSA) and the Pegasus Research Foundation (PRF) have recently awarded a $3.0 million dollar contract to Maximum Information Technology (MaxIT) and its Pegasus Technology Consortium (PTC) to expand the NSA Pegasus Program for Multi-State Information Sharing. The PTC, consisting of MaxIT, Appriss Inc., Bio-Key International, Inc., Business Communications Inc., Circadence Corporation, Cquay Technologies, Dell, eLabs Inc., MS e-Center and Sun Microsystems, will build upon the success of its NSA Pegasus Program Pilot System, which covered four offices, with a broader roll-out of the information sharing network to 220 Sheriffs' Offices throughout the United States. In addition, 500 additional Sheriffs' Offices will contribute data to the network. (SNIP) |
