To All: Sorry for the delay in responding, but fortunately for me it was because I was enjoying cool Colorado followed by colorful San Antonio. To business. Good news is bad news is good news. Unilab is getting healthier, they are beginning to tackle debt, and have (for the moment) ceased acquisitions. Great. Now. Since you mentioned Columbia HCA....the situation ulb finds itself in is perfect for COL. A debt ladden co, widespread with name recognition....buy for stock and pay off the principles. They LOVE to work this way...it is how Rainwater made the Basses rich. It never helps stockholders unless they hang in for the long term or sell on the high the day the news hits the wires. Geo Soros bought ulb, oh, 18 months or 2 yrs ago, let it ride, and sold. Ran up when his buy was announced....and only now is it recovering. Look at the COL situation. This is all speculation...to make you pay attention and ask questions on that pretty new home page they now have...if we are to protect shareholder interest, we need to know there are lions and tigers and bears out there. I'm really not trying to be mean or negative, just informative so we stay alive and WELL. Stick together and stay informed. Regaards.
