USA Today reported that the all-star edition will feature players from the first seven editions of "Survivor" with 18 contestants instead of the usual 16. It also reported there would be 14 episodes instead of the usual 13, and that the first contestant voted out would receive $25,000, 10 times what is normally paid in other editions.

Here's a list of the reported all-star players by their previous appearances:

"Survivor" -- Hatch, Boesch, Hawk and Jenna Lewis

"Survivor: The Australian Outback" -- Wesson, Brkich, Calaway, Donaldson and Jerri Manthey.

"Survivor: Africa" -- Zohn, Buchanan and Lex Van den Berghe.

"Survivor: Marquesas" -- Kathy Vavrick-O'Brien and Rob Mariano.

"Survivor: Thailand" -- Shi Ann Huang.

"Survivor: The Amazon" -- Morasca and Rob Cesternino.

"Survivor: Pearl Islands" -- Boneham.

Burnett told USA Today that he's made the all-star version "much, much harder" to compensate for the players' experience. Burnett said by offering no rations and tougher immunity challenges, "They got kicked in the butt from the very beginning."
