IT market in Asia-Pacific to see double digit growth in 2004: report By Khairuman Lani, Channelnewsasia.com SINGAPORE : The Asia-Pacific IT market (excluding Japan) is forecast to see double digit growth next year, a report said on Monday. According to IDC, a global market intelligence and advisory firm in the IT and telecomms industries, the market is expected to grow by 11 per cent to US$88 billion. Advertisement IDC attributed the positive outlook to an anticipated 18 per cent growth in China's IT market next year, which it says will account for 35 per cent of the Asia-Pacific IT market outside of Japan.
