Robin, I thought you were talking about after hour's Instinet trading. The globex futures on Nasdaq is figured this way: (sorry I assume this is new to you): 1775 basis point = 17.75 point (out of 1080+17.75=1097.75) Percentage change = -17.75/1097.75 = - 1.62% You may wish to check my math for accuracy.
