The Repugnicans don't REALLY want to stop illegal immigration, and neither do the Dems. Too many jobs are filled that would go begging or have to pay a decent wage are on the line. When I lived in S. Cal., I had some trouble with some illegals - the police told me it wasn't their job, and when I looked, the INS wasn't even in the phone book! So, I hired them to do yard work.
