C..I hope you're right, just ordered coupla cases of the Lapostolle C-S. Has anyone tried Smoking Loon Cab-Sauv 2001-Napa? Store man talked me into it today. Just opening my first bottle.
It's not too bad. Decent balance, just enough bite, bit of fruit and hint of choco, smooth/light enough for sipping w/o food, nice aftertaste.
For 7.50, on sale, 10 normal, is decent, imho.

PS, 'invented' a holiday drink the other day.
Eggnog with a bit of Butterscotch Schnapps, yum, a match made in heaven. Have also added some very dark rum to the mix on occasion, to cut the sweetness a bit for those that have that preference. |
