Gus,
I don't know what the details of their option plans are, but it is at least possible that the decline in the stock price suits them, as many plans set their options prices on year end prices. If they feel they are due for a break out in earnings, but the stock tanks here for the next couple of weeks, then they may (emphasize that word please) get some very attractively priced options in Jan., far better than the $10/share it was trading at just last week.

Anyway, I'm thinking of buying some here, maybe a third now, a third later in the week or beginning of next week, and a third at the end of the month. Their could well be some tax loss selling going on right, some people have some nice gains on the year and all of the sudden either they have a loss on NENG or rapidly shrinking gains. Either way it could lead to a dump. Should be a decent January when it lifts. All IMHO of course.
