Arabs will always hate/envy us. I went there once and was jeered by people on the street for no reason. Bush was foolish for going into Iraq without moderate Arab state cover and dean is just as foolish for saying it's hopeless and capturing Saddam doesn't mean anything. The truth may be somewhere inbetween, but frankly nobody knows. One thing we DO know is that we're going to spend a half trillion bucks to take out Saddam and it was a damned stupid management decision. UNLESS the tax-payers get oil revenues, lots of revenues, and soon. So far not a dime or mention of it. Bushies want to hoard the $$$ for themselves. That makes them lying liars. Hannity promised us we'd pay for the war with oil and he dosn't say anything the GOP doesn't approve of. Liar-liar-liar. Bottomline, we gotta get off Arab oil. Kerry has a plan. No one else does.
