Those guys who are paid only $2 a day to guard the Iraq oil pipelines and hence are quitting in droves presumably are paid by Halliburton. Yet you can still find "analysts" who will tell you that gold is overpriced.

You make an interesting point.

One of the things that I recall reading very recently is that the sale of gold is going through the roof in all the countries that Halliburton and Bechtel are now active in, in the region surrounding Iraq, or would have their management staffs vacationing in. Countries such aa Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain. Could the cowboy contractors be converting their US$10,000/mo. executive compensation into gold as fast as humanly possible, knowing what Bush and Greenspan have in mind for their ultimate treason, the destruction of the U.S. currency? Curious minds would like to know.
