last night I ran to the store and was unloading the grocery bags into the garage [with one arm] last trip in I took my coat off, then went into the garage to get a coke [I have a refrigerator out there, right by the door] when I opened the door, I stood face to face with a complete stranger, a teenager who had the MOST shocked look on his face I don't know if he ran because I opened the door or screamed at the top of my lungs! a car was waiting for him at the end of my driveway, but he was so scrambled he ran right past it, the car hesitated, then started to follow him - I got the license plate number called the police - they came over, told me kids were stealing beer out of garages - the plate was identified as near my neighborhood and a squad was waiting in that driveway as we spoke I told them I wouldn't press charges, but wanted them to scare the hell out of the lil bastages, just like they did to me [never a dull moment]
