Non sequitur responses - food aid is not related to active intervention to stop human rights violations and save lives. You look at a gaping wound and grab for a fig leaf. I agree on Rwanda - why didn't the US intervene unilaterally to stop the horror? And since Americans always drag up WW2, it was a UN-mandated force that saved South Korea after it was invaded. Plenty of blame for inaction when the world screams. Why isn't the US leading a force to dislodge Mugabe before he lets more thousands or millions starve under his bankrupt regime?
