Most of the Arab world sees Saddam as a hero as well, but that didn't stop the US from invading Iraq, did it? Here is another answer to the question - Because Mugabe is not sitting on loads of oil. Face it - The invasion of Iraq has NOTHING to do with US saving Iraqis from their dictator out of the goodness of its collective heart. Listen to the Iraqis. They are far more realistic about the intentions of the US.
