It's conceivable, just one of the least likely outcomes. I can't see Bush going to all this trouble to install a true democracy that might vote for some thing he doesn't like, which they would. So our troops will be there until he can install a government and an army he can control. The Iraqis invented civilization, have been through this probably scores of times since Babylon, and will see right through it. He'll also need to protect it as a future source of oil that is non-Saudi. Wait till he starts building the pipeline to Israel!
