the point is Victor that this economy was practically on autopilot when Bush took over, all he had to do was steer us through the 911 incident, which was a challenge admittedly, but then be an optimist about the future and show some INTEREST in new products which US excels in where the good jobs are being created. He didn't do that, he openly stated that the tech industry was not a priority, he spent his time with the states that donated to his reelection, these are the farm states and textiles, other low quality industries that do not float the US economic boat, meanwhile tech was going down down... then Bush passed a tax cut plan, anything in there for tech- NO!!! He gave away the entire budget without creating ONE high quality job. Bush tore down what it took the 90s to create and the sooner he is gone the better for anyone under 50 who wants to earn a high quality living.
