Mike Rose has filed a preliminary prospectus for Duvernay Oil Co. for appx. all of its 30 million class A shares:

I'm not surprised (given what Rose did with and learned at Berkeley) to see that Duvernay has assembled quite a land package, has spent and earned back a lot of money in a short time, and has very impressive production growth from discovery, not mainly from acquisition.

The company is about 50/50 balanced now between oil and gas, and concentrates in Western Alberta/B.C. I'm sure it won't be cheap. Launch set on a date TBA in 2004, presumably early. Cash flow has been .60/share for the first 9 months of 2003. Closed the link, but I think I recall reading that the company has appx. 6 million common shares outstanding already.
