I think it was David Brooks who suggested that Dean is using the Internet to create various personas to broaden his appeal beyond his base. "On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog." Even if so, most people do not get their news and form their views about a candidate on the web. It's TV and the paper, which will provide info the old-fashioned way.
