hello jay...

I am buying China Life tonight in the US market

i heard the CEO of the company this morning indicating the current amount of life insurance coverage is about 1.5% of the population...

so that market pretty much has nowhere to go but up <g>

however i do have a question for you, something which i rarely see discussed in the china/demand scenarios that are out there

which is...

i've been looking at some actuarial figures for chinese annual incomes...and the population migration to urban areas...

so please when you have a moment, tell us about the purchasing power (for things such as life insurance, automobiles) of the average chinese consumer whose income has grown to a level of something like $1500 (U.S) per year????

tia
