I disagree. Although the PR has been abysmal, it was about the removal of a tyrant who murdered, raped, tortured and stole from his own people, was a danger to the world, supported terror, embraced and encouraged cowardly suicide attacks, etc.

It's a good thing.

Now the issues of whether he was the right tyrant to remove at that particular time and unilaterally, I agree is subject to lots of debate. But the bottom line is that it's a good thing for everyone that he's out of power.

I'm not qualified to judge hubris. I don't see any envy anywhere. As for greed, the cost of removal of any oil will be much more expensive, exponentially more expensive than drilling a hole in the US.
