I am all in favor of a strong military. I support the military. I do not support invading countries that have not attacked us - which result in thousands of civilian deaths, over 400 US military deaths, and thousands wounded.

"Are you trying to remind us that no WMDs have been found? Are you trying to remind us that war takes it's toll? Are you trying to remind us of your obvious dislike of the current administration?"

I am trying to remind everyone of the number of lies that we were told by the Bush administration - including by Powell, Rumsfeld, and Cheney.

The problem with that is that we supported and aided Saddam in the 1980s under Reagan. I'm sure you have seen the video of a smiling Rumsfled sitting with Saddam around 1988 - AFTER the Kurds were gassed? We didn't care much about that then. I care both then and now..

Do you justify the killing of thousands of Iraqis by saying that Saddam murdered people also? Does that justify illegally invading a country, and killing it's citizens, and occupying it now??
