Bush has passed a lot more entitlements -- Medicare drug benefit, bigger farm bill, yesterday I heard he signed into law a minority home ownership giveaway -- qualifying applicants can get up to a 5k down payment for a house -- he's extended unemplyment bennies as well and it isn't just the war -- he also used 9/11 as an excuse for welfare for the airline industry -- an excuse for the massive new homeland security baloney ... There is only one thing he didn't do -- blame anyone here for the lax security that allowed 9/11 to transpire in the first place ... All he knows how to do is demonize the rest of the world -- it's an awful precedent. Does anyone else feel like we might be about to get our commeuppance here?? This whole "goody, goody, we got Sadam thing" has me worried. <ng>
