Cost-effective Solution for Broadband Wireless Access Applications

Fujitsu’s WMAN single chip is designed to enable Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) manufacturers and Subscriber Station (SS) developers to develop cost-effective solutions for broadband wireless access applications. The chip complies with the 802.16a/d/e AP standard over the air using a single OFDM PHY in CPE TDD or CPE HDX FDD for up to 20 MHz channel operation. Fujitsu’s WMAN chip also supports sub-channels in the uplink for mobile applications.
