CB says check it out. HBO has done it again.

Al Pacino is a brilliant actor, and carries what I saw of it. Frank Rich of the Times raves about it, but a lot of reviewers did not like it. Andrew Sullivan has really been negative on it. I just could not get into it.

However, I was delighted to see that a second series of "Carnivale" is being filmed. That, and "The Wire" will be my TV for next year.
