IMO Americans will never see a trial where Saddam is free to say what he wants. He knows too much about his contracts with Cheney and Halliburton. He knows that Rumsfeld went to bat for him when he was gassing the Kurds. He knows how Reagan made it possible for him to get powerful, etc. Every effort will be made so that this information is not discussed by the "liberal media" and the American people, as is the case now. I expect that the spin will be that Saddam will not be allowed to tell his "lies".
