My prior posts suggests that politicians drop their normal stripes when it involves something integral to the Consitution. That assumes that the neocons are your normal polititians. I think that they an abberation who believe their personal interest is more important than the country's, or the concept of democracy. That is not unusual, petty dictators abound on this planet, but our system was supposed to have safeguards. The PNAC analysed the exact safeguards to wrongful impeachment, unprovoked war, and lawful succession, and then used that information to scam the system. Careful packing of the courts and media are the key to the coup. TP
