When we read stuff like that, knowing that the media can create a bogey man and then track him down and arrest and him to rot in a prison, reminds me of Kafka! First a bogey man is created. Hunt him down, arrest and show that the lion was a pussycat. Was this guys morphed into a pussycat or has he ever been a lion?
