The Left would have said it wasn't "imminent"....Of course, had all the 9/11 terrorists been rounded up on 9/10, many of Bush's critics would have argued that it was a racist effort to distract people from the economy, or some such

OR that "the UN should have handled it." Of course, NOT once does the Left point to any way that the UN has handled successfully any terrorist activity, BEFORE it happened. (i.e. USS Cole, the Kobar Towers, WTC I, etc etc etc...
