so, I take it you don't think that partisan
politics had anything to do with Iran/Contra and
the whole litany of efforts to take down Reagan.

C'mon.

Reagan wasn't convicted either.

Your most salient observation was that
Bill Clinton was no more corrupt than
anyone else in DC."

Politics and power can breed corruption.
Suggesting that the Clintons were angels compared
to the Reagan administration is rather hollow.

As for the sex habit, it sure got Clinton into
a lot of trouble, didn't it?

My own take on that had to do with
his overreaching of a young intern, regardless
of whether she was a willing participant.
I can't get past the feeling that she
was taken advantage of due to all the
attendant glamour of the situation.

A CEO of a large company engaging in that
kind of behavior on the job with subordinates
would not likely have a job very long. The
civil exposure from such inappropriate workplace
conduct is just too high in today's world.

Having both defended high level men accused of
sexual harassment, and having prosecuted such
cases against such individuals, I know very well
the extreme cost of such behavior to both
the operation of businesses and to their
bank accounts.

Put another way, sexual misconduct should not
be trivialized.
