At my home I have 3 computers that are networked by Windows 2000 and a router. They share the internet by this means also.I have guests coming and want to remove one if the computers with sensitive info from the network temporarily.

I have tried several steps and have only succeeded in removing all the contacts the sensitive computer has with the others; but the others still have access to it.

I have tried changing the computers password but apparently have only changed users password on that computer, not the computers password.

Can you tell me how to remove the computer with sensitive information from being accessed by the other computers, short of disconnecting it physicaaly from the router?
