You certainly like to make frequent assertions on SI that
President Bush & his senior Administration officials lie.
To my knowledge, not once have you provided credible
evidence to support those nebulous assertions. Several
folks, myself included, have factually established that a
number of them are false assertions.
And once again, your assertions are completely baseless.
As for that link you are posting all over SI & the
comments you made to me on Voltaire's Porch in regard to
this clearly partisan political site, you said.........

The audio portion is all heavily edited, incomplete &
inappropriately out of context. What possible explanation
can you give to assert that this hodgepodge of
incongruent, out of context sound bites factually
establishes significant lies by the Bush Admin?
The audio portion contains short excerpts of President
Bush & other senior Administration officials speaking
about Iraq, focusing solely on WMD as the ONLY reason we
removed Saddam from power. That in itself is a blatant
distortion & intentionally misleading.
The only thing credible the audio clearly establishes is
that this site is into creating propaganda & a distorted
reality. There is not one credible lie that can be gleaned
from these cobbled together snippets that have been placed
in such an order so as to intentionally distort reality.
That is a fact.
I seriously doubt you can find the actual transcripts of
those speeches, etc., & show that what's portrayed on this
site is accurate.
Meanwhile, while the audio is playing, the video portion
of this site shows a series of leading questions that
states,
"Remind us: Why did the government of the United States
invade & destabilize Iraq?"
"Remind us: Why did the Bush Administration send 150,000
husbands, wives, sons, daughters & friends to die in Iraq?"
"Remind us: now that the reason for war has been revealed
as a lie, what advice does George Bush have for the Iraqi
people, increasingly frustrated, desperate & resentful of
the "liberators" who invaded & trashed their country
because of a lie?"
That's just more icing on the cake proving my point.
This site uses lies & intentional distortion to falsely
claim the Bush Administration lied.
They use the intentionally distorted & misleading audio as
proof that, "the reason for war has been revealed as a
lie".
They falsely asserted that the US (the Coalition of the
willing) "destabilized Iraq".
They falsely claim the US "trashed" Iraq.
They made spurious assertions that Iraqi's are, "increasingly frustrated,
desperate & resentful of the "liberators"" <US/Coalition>.
This is a real war fought for multiple legitimate reasons,
which has been explained to you accurately & factually
more than once by myself. Our national security is at
stake & our troops are operating in harms way across the
globe. Stooping to outrageous lies & intentional deception
solely for political gain is treacherous.
Your misguided perception that it proves anything bad
about the Bush Administration is incomprehensible. |
