Not only was I not responsible for that disgusting and promiscuous doggy, I refuse to be associated in any way with the perverted and deviant development of any of the perfectly nice characters I had attempted to introduce, the lovely and fastidious Betty, the pitiful, haunted Mary Baines Crowley, the friendly, somewhat delusional Lawyer Bob. I had dreams of a Mr Rogers Neighborhood setting for murder, hauntings and mayhem. Now we have a Poochie Peyton Place. I've called Animal Control and told them to bring a suitcase full of tranquilizers. I'm also putting salt petre in Freddy's food bowl. Janice? Ah well--what can anyone do with Janice??
