According to an announcement of Afghan Information Office, Karzai in a telephonic contact with President Bush the other day extended the invitation to him, which he accepted. Karzai lauded US help and cooperation in building Kabul-Kandahar highway. He also thanked Bush for appointing Zalmay Khalilzad as new US Ambassador to Afghanistan
