This is the inaugural post for the Marchex board. As of this date Marchex has not gone public. It is anticipated that the IPO will be within the first 3 months of 2004. The year end December 2003 Revenues should be in the range of $27 to $29 Million with positive cash flow based upon the IPO filing. The company should have $40 to $45 Million in cash (based upon current $8 Million cash balance and the $35 Million IPO) after the IPO is completed. The former Go2net team was very successful in integrating companies and growing those businesses in a VERY profitable manner. The search based component of their transaction generation strategy has shown extreme levels of growth with very strong levels of projected growth. They may be worth watching.
