OK, so no number of new jobs is enough for you - you'll find some way to rationalize it as a "sugar high" and dismiss the stimulus as ineffective.

BTW, "trickle down" has nothing to do with "reward[ing] everyone at the top and [hoping] it trickles down." The idea is to create incentives (or remove disincentives) for capital formation and business investment, thus creating jobs and disposable income. Are you opposed to capital formation and business investment?

PS: As I noted in the GDP discussion, business investment rose faster in the latest quarter than at any time since the bubble peak and investment in equipment and software blew that Q1 2000 number away. Couple that fact with the fact that 1.1 million people (net) have found jobs in the last six months and I'd say both the stimulus AND "trickle down" are working.
