The week that was. Or the weak wus that I was. (Say that fast )

CPT- What a nice piece of news. Now wouldn.t it be nice to have one of these each week next year.

SUF- Now I would call that 3.80 a bottom. It looks like a nice firm bottom too. But I need glasses .... so I have to touch it to find out if it is a firm bottom or not. This can get me into trouble.

TM- Old TM is shaping up very nicely. They are about to do a feasability study and they have some additional targets to add to the mix. Not holding very much at this time.

GNI- broke 3 bucks today. Nice graph. Energy stock with legs and a captain who knows how to promote and make himself money.

SAA- Looks like it will find a new place of support. There has been steady buying out of Haywood for the last 2 years. They were at it today as well. Very thin trader.

SI- It has some life .

ADE- I remember flagging this one about 6 or 10 months back. Its got interest now.

YZN- ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

LAM- If it don,t move by Feb I am out.

FIX- Ditto

ORM- This one is nice. I really like the structure.

SUR- I blew it all off. Perhaps too early, but i found the action kinda weak.

WM- You could almost swing trade it.

INM- will 2004 be the year for INM ?This company could bore you to death but I think that makes the downside less risky.

XCL- rottenfrigginragtotengrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and woof. I missed peeling a grand on this one for the sake of one cent. DUH.

CM- I want some but I want it at 60 bucks ...thats my limit. Why is it that my penny stocks run in tandem with the blue chip stocks. I want to park a little bit of cash in
a bank with a low PE ratio. Last Jan CM was at a level that i would like to buy at but I had no cash. now I have some cash but CM is looking pricey.

And its that time of year again, please, once you have a position please share your thoughts. Its not like we are going to run out and mortgage the house. I may buy 1 out of every 15 stocks that someone flags. And thats the folks that have caught my interest.

Oh I got one for you. I go to a party with my wife. (first time in 8 years ) The host grabs me and takes me up stares and shows me his portfolio.
Now lets get this straight I have not been in this guys house in 8 years. But he remembers me telling him to watch his butt on some stuff 8 years back and has never forgotten. Anyways he is showing me a mess of mineral stocks that his broker has got him into and I know most of them. He tells me what a great year that he is having but wants a second opinion.

Now here is where I screwed up. I told him I was doing ok as well, BUT not to discuss it with anyone. So what does he do ? Yep . That night he tells his wife.
WHO WORKS WITH MY WIFE. His wife goes to work and sees mine and tells her how happy her husband that I came to the party and how he got to talk about his portfolio with someone who understands the markets. And impressed he was with the great year I was having.

Now who am I ? Just some smuck trying to get his portfolio to break out of 5 figures.

What a goof. This guy does not know about the " Never talk about stocks with your wife rule " and he breaks a confidence.

Now I got a worried wife. Whom I do not want to lie to . But she knows I got more than that original 1000 bucks I started with. And I did plan on letting her know I was up a bit but i wanted to kinda ease the idea across to her.
Like over the next decade.
That way if it gets cut in half she will not have anything to get upset about
