* A former Vietnamese official makes this charge which Brown calls ridiculous. So you believe some former Vietnamese official (a country that's always been extremely corrupt) over Ron Brown? OK maybe you do believe communists. Doesn't even make any sense giving him those bucks because Brown wouldn't be able to get that law changed by himself if he lobbied for it 24 hours a day. The GOP controlled congress then and they would have a lot to say about that. Indeed they did. Kerry and McCain also had to do their trip to Vietnam to clear up the MIA issues first. Hey maybe Brown did take 700 K. Who knows? You don't. We don't. Maybe a lot of politicians take huge bribes we don't know about. Or just wait until they're out of office to collect like the Carlyle Group. Anyone can accuse anyone of anything in this free society. But even if he did, it has nothing to do the crazy right-wing wacko theory that the Clintons murdered him, and that's what this discussion is all about.
