Congratulations, Tuck, three times: you won the contest against a formidable field, you have made many insightful comments to biotech investors at SI, and you have been a stellar advocate for your charity.

Alpha Project's "Donate Now" button did not work for me, so I snail-mailed my check to Alpha Project, 3737 Fifth Avenue, Suite 203, San Diego, CA 92103. I enclosed a letter to Mr. McElroy, mentioning the contest, and asking that you be notified that my donation was received.

I feel great about this year's contest, and about the many exchanges we have all shared over the year. Thanks to all, especially Eric who lead for so long. And -- best wishes to everyone.

Lest anyone think that this message is even tangentially related to altruistic motives, I want to disclose that if I ever become homeless, I intend to hitch-hike to San Diego.
