Welcome to the complete sound-bite trivialization of American politics. Thank you for pointing out this reality. Quoting a PR spin flak like Joe Lockhart as a serious commentator on politics is like, well, having Rush Limbaugh commenting on quarterbacks. Lockhart is completely unqualified to be anything other than what he is. A twisted mind, working to create an illusion for an underhanded purpose. It's time to chase all these mind(money)changers out of the temple of politics and end the spin. The most endangered species on our political Serengeti is the unvarnished truth. SUNSHINE IS THE BEST DISINFECTANT. Spin is the worst kind of lie.
