Only way to get congress approval for waging war unilaterally without UN approval, is to convince them that there is "imminent threat" of being attacked. Without the "imminent threat" claim, congress wouldn't have signed it. Without the "imminent threat" you cannot wage "pre-emptive attack" hence no war. No war means no high oil prices (guess who benefits...) no war means the US oil companies would not control the second largest oil fields, and no war means no looting the treasury funneling money into the pockets of Halliburton, KRB, Betchel, the whole MilitaryIndustrialComplex etc.... And of course some of that money will go to "buy" media coverage, ( you know...... for keeping the public well informed of the facts..hehe) and definitely money into next elections. Pretty slick plan.
We are talking trillions of $$$, what's few well placed lies?. If the lies wouldn't work, hey!!! couple of "anthax letters" to the appropriate congressmen to scare them, and you got your self a deal.
