Your point is no point- you might as well just fess up that you made an error. Liberals do not generally think FDR is God, nor do they defend his decision to incarcerate the Japanese. THAT was what I was speaking to, that was what you said, seeing as how you've forgotten already, and I wasn't even speaking to you. I didn't even mention Padilla, and your bizarre conflation of the two things, which as Karen so aptly explained aren't the same issue- you throw him in tangentially to me (good try, but I'm not interested). Your debating technique is obviously to make outrageous unsubstantiated statements, and then when called upon them, to shift the subject. I guess that might entertain you, but I have no interest in games that make no sense.
I don't think you have a clue about liberals, or me, or anything else. Your failure to recognize that liberals challenge each other all the time is awesomely funny- especially considering the news these days is filled with democrats stabbing each other all over the place. Perhaps you aren't aware of this? Talk about shocking.
I'll give you one recent historical example: Lyndon Johnson- CRUCIFIED by liberals (and when he first ran for the congress he ran on a New Deal platform). Who can forget "Hey Hey LBJ, how many kids did you kill today?" Were you under the impression conservatives were chanting that? History is replete with examples of democrats attacking democrats, you simply never learned your US history. Your failure to understand that your argument is maladroit is not shocking to me though, I'm used to seeing very poorly thought out arguments on SI.
