You are reminding me of the famous American Revolutionary War slogan.

"We must all hang together, else surely we will all hang separately."

If the system is so corrupt as to threaten to implode, wouldn't it be more sensible to address the systemic problem rather than address the "sky is falling, what can I do" scenarios?
