Thanks for the article. While the Baker trip was "shaping up", it occurred to me that the Wolfowitz-Baker news had all the earmarks of a good cop-bad cop routine. It also occurred to me, that if there was any subterfuge in the timing of Saddam's capture, it was interesting that he was trotted out almost simultaneously with Baker's departure. While most are familiar with how the US uses the IMF and World bank to economically control nations, I was unfamiliar with the details of the Kissinger-Guzzetti meeting.

I still believe that the neo-cons are driven by ideology, but that greed is a dominant component for the Admin as a whole, is quite plausible.
