Its not a big deal...we only ran it for 5 months. Looking back I put in much too strict of trading rules in an attempt to make it work with mutual funds.You might say I kept it so simple it didn't work. It really didn't have a chance with two days of slippage with each trade. I still think it could be made into a viable system with realtime signals and trades...I might still look into that in the future. The holy grail of a backyard tinkerer like me is trying to capture high percentage short term moves with the leveraged dynamic funds. Rather than looking for intermediate moves with the less volatile SP500 I would like to experiment in the opposite direction...trying to capture very short term moves with a more volatile index. It will be fun and very very challenging.
