The idle rich now pay less tax percentage wise than an average worker. The quadruple goodie bag from the Bush tax cuts for the rich were dividend tax cuts, capital gains, estate tax cuts and income tax cuts. Add to that all the wonderful write-offs the rich can enjoy that their less wealthy neighbors cannot, like incorporating, trusts, etc.

Those rich enough to not to need to work can now only pay the low dividend and capital gains rate. So already being rich has been rewarded, something the middleclass doesn't get. The estate tax cuts are huge for the already rich and old money class. They'll get richer now. Percentage-wise the overall tax burden has been shifted from the rich to the middleclass by about 3%.
